I'm Rafaela, but you can call me Rafa.
I'm a founder in AI, building Gigi, and I help companies get their people using AI with confidence.

I'm the founder of Gigi, an AI companion for women’s gut health, born from my own health story and years of searching for answers. I build it hands-on with AI. Gigi is built with doctors, reviewed by a clinical team, and now in private pilot in Amsterdam.
Before Gigi, I spent 15 years leading PR, marketing and internal communications across Europe and in over 100 countries, in tech, energy and the creative industries.
Today I bring both sides together for companies: hands-on AI workshops for teams, AI sessions for L&D programmes, and 1:1 AI coaching. I teach AI the way I use it to build a company: practically, in plain language, so people leave able to use it the same week.
I'm also a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator, and a speaker and moderator who brings energy, empathy and edge to every stage, from AI panels to keynotes about reinventing yourself.

An AI companion for women’s gut health
Your gut has been trying to tell you something. Gigi helps you figure it out. Talking to her is a real conversation, not a form: tell her what you ate, how you slept, where you are in your cycle, or that today was rough. Nothing to log, no plan to follow.
She remembers all of it, and over time she helps you see how your gut connects to food, mood, energy, sleep and cycle. Gigi is built with doctors and reviewed by a clinical team. She is a wellness companion, not a doctor, and is now in private pilot in Amsterdam.

1st place, AI4ALL Entrepreneur Program 2026 (with Gigi)
In 2026 Rafaela joined the AI4ALL Entrepreneur Program for women founders in AI: months of workshops, mentors and very honest feedback, ending with a pitch on stage at the closing night in June. Gigi, then still called Gut Goddess, won 1st place.

Nominated for the AI4Her Health Award at the AI4Her Benelux Awards 2026, which celebrate women transforming healthcare with AI. Finalists are announced in November, and the gala is in February in Amsterdam.
